Gas Prices

Bro I sure hope not. I can't fucking deal with fucking ogrish/liveleak fucking beheadings anymore. Can't.

So if we have so much oil that we are "oil independent"- why haven't fuel prices come down (or better said- why did they go up)? I recall reading our massive reserve supply is low, but that was the case before we danced with Iran.

In CA? Cause CA's taxes, refinery compliance costs (many have shut down due to), and climate contributions added onto $/ gallon. The likely reason for continued poor roads are the 3X cost to do road work in CA and discretion to use road funds for pedestrian/ cycle projects...the largest being all the deferred maintenance the last 20 years or so.

In the Country? As I understand it, there's bottlenecks in the Persian Gulf....can't talk much more on that lest this thread gets kicked to the KSP 2.0.

If you could sell your product globally for $200 would you sell it locally for $100.

Oils companies are not known for their generosity.

Oil's traded on the global price/ barrel anyway, tho.

….followed almost immediately by the miracle of the levitating oil prices. They were risen.

Not to get too political, but the amount of people blaming a certain governor for CA oil prices is reDONK. Not surprising though when you see who is complaining...

Same people who complained when we paid back a debt to Iran that courts agreed we were liable for

I foresee the US rebuilding Iran’s infrastructure with private contractors funded by taxpayers :mad

Well, at least the roads are great with these high gas prices. Bent wheels are at an all time low....

+1 … in March I did a thousand mile ride to Death Valley and back, over SR 155, Walker Pass, Monitor Pass, Hwy 88 and Hwy 26 and can report that our CA roads were in fantastic shape. :angel :ride

did another long ride in February down to Baja and back, and the difference in road conditions after crossing the border was very noticeable. of course, I imagine that the potholes I was dodging in Baja would be described here on BARF as “axel busting” by our sports car set. been told that everything is relative, and I believe it. :laughing :clown

Our local onramp rattles my teeth every morning.

discretion to use road funds for pedestrian
Dam pedestrian'S should stick back to the trough and get their filthy project fingers out of the tax money

The tax revenue from gasoline sales is not for them. :x It's for the "other" part of the community.

20 years is several governors...but the legislature is really to blame, IMO.

Agree. The least they could do is hustle a little more in the crosswalks....
