Post / Chat whores post here (2026)

Currently doing laundry. I haven’t my last few trips. My room was chaotic. I’m happy.

what a morning it's been. Got out of bed and drinking my cup of coffee, let the dogs out. Gotta a lawn guy who is coming over at 9am. Hope it works out.

Good morning!
Showertume!
Coffee feed the animals and bury my nose on office stuff.

It is a bummer. Someone grazed the rear quarter panel a couple months ago and I rubbed out 90% of it and I was going to get the car detailed on Sunday hoping it would all come out.

It was white paint. I think the same women hit it but it was such a soft blow she did not even notice. Now both will get fixed properly. I talked to the dude that ran the shop where I had the car painted. He said the guy who actually painted it now works here:

I am going to head over Monday to get an estimate. Turns out Arneaux is out of town until July 5th so I will just send the estimate to his Wife and ask her to ask him if we go the insurance route or he just wants to pay out of pocket and not make a claim. Seems his Wife was in an accident not to long ago so he might appreciate the opportunity to not have another deal flagged :dunno

She must be mortified. You’re a good man Bman :thumbup
Work stuff, unbearable stress,

All I ever do is pick up after him…
For this I graduated with an applied physics degree from a top ten :rolleyes

The piles of started projects are like a flesh eating bacteria to my psyche.

If it was me I'd request the following from her, copy (photos) of: License, registration, and proof of insurance. By CVC they are required to give that to you. Going "out of pocket" can be sketchy. Been down that route once, it was a hassle, the guy took over 6 months to pay me in full.

Vehicle Code section 16025
(a)

(1)
Driver’s name and current residence address, driver’s license number, vehicle identification number, and current residence address of registered owner.

(2)
Evidence of financial responsibility, as specified in Section 16020. If the financial responsibility of a person is a form of insurance, then that person shall supply the name and address of the insurance company and the number of the insurance policy.

(b)
Any person failing to comply with all of the requirements of this section is guilty of an infraction punishable by a fine not to exceed two hundred fifty dollars ($250).

I hear you Bruce. I do... but I don't want to screw them with their insurance and this is no 10K fix by any means.

Sipping coffee, getting ready for work. I don't have keys again, but that's fine, means I don't have to rush to be the first one there to open up. I can just show up around 10:40 when most everyone will get there. If they get me my own set of keys I'll start showing up earlier again.
