The guy had multiple de-fanged rattlesnakes. The dogs got to smell the snakes and hear the rattle before the unpleasant result, in three different scenarios over a couple hours... it seemed to make sense to me.

Bruno will also get the vaccine soon.
(the vaccine just buys you some more time to get them to the vet)

Same, and it's sad. I love snakes. And you'd think they'd be all over my property considering we have eight billion fucking gophers. Not sure if it's because of the horses or if I just stink. But other than sharptails and one gartersnake about five years ago, I haven't seen any snakes at all.
