How is the 701 or 690 at the track?

Been wanting a lower maintenance tard that's got nicer brakes and suspension on it. they are a bit on the heavy side but my options are limited. How are these fatties on the kart track?
 
Haven't been on a kart track but I think a 450 would probably be more enjoyable than the 701. Like you said, it's pretty heavy. Not a ton of weight to shave off the thing either. Lithium battery was probably the easiest and cheapest per lb weight savings. Lights and emissions stuff if you don't care about street. If you're balling you could probably find someone who makes carbon wheels, but I don't want to know the cost of that.

Yeah Ideally if i was track focused i would get a 450SMR again but i want something that can do double duty for being not a maintenance headache and streetable but being able to put in a decent show on track. I'm tired of the DRZ's, wanted something with Brembo's
