King of the motos!

I don’t do many vids but… Cody Webb, local dude…

When shit gets properly knarly.... two stroke it!!

Hard enduro is pretty fun to watch and the coverage of it is starting to get really good.

I went to King of Hammers one time and watched this I bought the tshirt too. The first stage was at night also.

I'm not crazy enough to try any of it on a bike. My bones hurt just watching the videos!!! Haha!

But I am slowly building a stock class Grand Cherokee, to run it on four wheels.

As a former Jeep dealership shop foreman, I need to know more about this.
I presume you went with the trusty 4.0L?

I'm looking at the bottom video as a still picture. See the riders, staged for the start. Understand why they are delayed, as it appears around that corner of the first turn, there was a rockslide! Danger Will Robinson. Abort.

Makes mogul skiing look like a walk in Golden Gate Park by comparison.

Watching the Pros rock (key word) this is pretty amazing.
They seem to enjoy feet down madness. The coverage is pretty cool with some following bikes and dudes posted up in specific sections. They continue to improve the coverage on these. Not easy so props to the media folks.

Watching the video, those that look ahead and see the next foot placement are the ones that seem to handle certain passages with less effort.

The one gal highlighted by the narrator is one such. Just stabbing a foot out in appropriate fashion time-after-time.

I could run, on foot, full speed across a riverbed like that. On a motorcycle? Nope. Kudos to those that do.

I'm not nearly that sane! LOL!
Try... 3.0L turbo diesel!

My Jeep of choice is the 2007 Grand Cherokee CRD, with the Mercedes OM642! Hahaha! (I'm so screwed!)

Long story short... I think the platform is underrated and could compete at least with the other amateur level IFS competitors that run at KoH. Sherpa Motorsports and their long armed 4Runner would probably be in my target goal. (The factory sponsored Ford Broncos, with their $70k IFS portal box front axles, are in a league of their own.)
But with the turbo diesel, I should have leg up on some of the competition. Other than not allowing you to add a blower or turbocharger to an original NA engine, all engine mods are open as long as it's an engine block and transmission combo that was originally available in your model. These OM642's are super common in Europe and have been tuned to make a TON of power which could give me a distinct advantage in the desert sections of the race. If nothing else, I can at least run significantly farther for the same fuel load as the gassers. Beyond that, I'm basically just going to put much the Bronco Raptor running gear under this thing and go haul butt!
