Friend said there was a crash on the straight at Thill on Sunday with Carters. Two life flights.

Anyone know the specifics? Hoping all are ok.

Not good.

Hoping the best for the riders.

Yes , crash on front straight.
I heard it but didn't see it when it happened.
Terrible to see two riders down knowing that it was at speed where crashes are not common.
Don't have any more details and will not speculate because as I said, didn't see it personally. :(

I, too, hope that all involved are OK.

Thunder Hill, turn one, is where I responded to a crash some years ago. Unfortunately the rider lost his life, while we worked to save his life. We did everything we could but he was injured too badly. It was a sad day.

There is no operator I am aware of called "life flight" within 150 miles on Thunderhill. CALSTAR, REACH, Enloe, CareFlight are it. Closest LifeFlight brand is Stanford Life Flight and they didn't go. (For sure, "LifeFlight" can be like "Kleenex" (all brands) is tissue- that's an antonomasia.
