I just use the same orange foamers I use for riding.

Low tech and cheap.
 
I actually prefer the fancy ones for concerts because they use some kind of science and engineering to make the music sound gooder than foam plugs :laughing

I use the custom plugs I got from Kaiser. Those things are the cats meow
 
I use the silicone rubber 3 flange ear plugs NRR 27 decibels. They're reusable and easy to insert. Bought a case from Grainger decades ago, probably die with a few pairs unused.

Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee. Funny my ears are extra loud today. I still remember the Tool concert at Red Rocks that was so loud I was concerned my heart was gonna stop beating. Couldn't hear right for a week.

I love when I pull that off in front of the family at gatherings. I got a fly at the 4th of July gig last year.

Caught it in my hand with a swipe. SIL asked did you just get that fly? Me yes.. letting it go and he did the :wow as it flew away.
 
One of my earliest memories is "catching" a bee in my hand at the lafayette reservoir.
I was so happy I caught it... until it stung me. :laughing
 
Gotta squish those suckers fast I suppose. Only ever caught one in my mouth on a bicycle ride. Somehow I managed not to crash, but I looked like if gotten filler injected into my lower lip only

I used to catch bees often as a punk. We had a full driveway row of Bee hedges.

The key to not being stung was keeping them in the dark.
I got stung plenty of times until I learned that. I cannot remember why I thought that was fun to do. :laughing

This is the option that I use for concerts and other loud environments, where I want to HEAR good.
EARGASM
I have been starting to use them under my helmet when riding lately, since I have added speakers with a foam surround.
The noise reduction of the earplugs AND the speaker surrounds do a good job of reducing the wind and road noise,
But also let me enjoy the music and sounds of the bike at a comfortable level.
My 2 cents.

I have a set of eargasms as well but I don't find them to be comfortable
