Really looking to get into this, have done a couple regular track days at the big track on my Mt09 but I feel I'd learn more on the kart track.

Are there any people renting SM bikes out there? Also I read online the CC limit is 450?
Is it reasonable to get a prepped Ninja 400 or R3 and ride it here or is it supermoto only?

You can pretty much ride what ever you show up on (I saw a guy on an Africa twin once ! ) No tech to go thru, (any thing goes ! )
Yes a lot of people run small sport bikes like the Ninja's and R3's etc...
But nothing as fun as a SM bike !
Make sure to say Hi when you come out (I'm going tomorrow ! )

Next Monday (the 26th) is a Holiday (Memorial Day) and the Sonoma Kart track is having a bike only day (no Karts)
Doesn't happen very often that we get the track to are selves !!
Come on out !

I'll be there tomorrow! First time at the Kart Track even though it is only 15m drive. Is there power for warmers? Or do i need to bring my genny?

No, they are more than welcome (anything goes ! )
The first time at the kart track I started on a 701 SM, then the next day, I bought a 450SM !!
