For your moto fiend racing fan pleasure..!

Good race. Great finish. :thumbup

Congrats to Marc Marquez for not showing up. :p

Don’t look if you don’t want to know the results.

Another 200 mile thriller. Loved it.

Fuck yeah it was and so did I.
Love to see a field you don’t always see. Part of the lure of Daytona.... even on a mid weight bike.

Larry is probably asleep. :laughing

Shout out to Shelina Moreda for a great finish in the Hooligan race. She's a good friend and has worked her way up to being an excellent and capable racer.

MotoAmerica released some interesting notes from last weekend.

Top Speeds

“The World Center of Racing” is absolutely a crucible of speed where aerodynamics, drafting, track position, and horsepower are all critical to achieving “mile an hour.” Here are the top speeds achieved in the three races that were held on Saturday at Daytona:

179.8 mph – Daytona 200 – Sam Lochoff (Suzuki GSX-R600)

171.5 mph – Mission King Of The Baggers Race Two – Jeremy McWilliams (Indian Challenger) :wow

159.0 mph – Twins Cup Race Two – Jackson Blackmon (Yamaha YZF-R7)

Back To Back

Brandon Paasch is the 12th rider in Daytona 200 history to win back-to back Daytona 200s (Scott Russell and Danny Eslick did it twice) and only the third rider to win the 200 back-to-back on two different motorcycles (Dick Mann – Honda 1970 & BSA 1971 and Danny Eslick – Triumph 2014 & Suzuki 2015).

Ken Hill called this, said the 600's would win, I'm boggled by the top speeds, insane.

I'm still baffled by MY excitement over the baggers racing..:wtf

However, it was also nice to see Bobby smiling and laughing in the winners circle, and the speeds they are getting out of those things makes me giggle..

I also think this was one of the better 200's we have seen in a long time. I didn't realize the race was over 2hr long until it was over and I looked at the clock :thumbup

A 765 won :twofinger

I am not sure if you were serious or joking hence the :twofinger

The 600's are close to those old TZ750 speeds and it is damn amazing!

I'm pretty excited about Stanboli taking Jake and Attack Performance Yamaha to a WSBK round this year; likely Portimao.

Yeah, me too. I went over there in 2018 when Jake was on the RedBull Honda. The whole place is awesome, the locals are nice, and the food is fantastic. Especially the bacalhau...mmmmmm

But beware the hot sauce they put on the meat sandwich at the snack bar on top of the hill, that shit made me have a near death experience! :mad:wow:mad:wow:mad

The TOBC Triumphs at Daytona were listed as the Street Triple RS which is a 765cc Triple. In the video peterhively posted, Stanboli felt the balancing regulations worked pretty well though he mentioned the Triumphs were really fast. Paasch rode a brilliant race. Maybe he's King of the Sand Baggers?

I would love to go to Portimao for WSBK. I'd like to combine Portimao and Aragon like you did. Not going to happen this year.
