We're gonna do a two-fer!

Dinner at Golden Lotus, where I once took @slowblood as the pillion on my R1150GS so we could get bun rieu, a seafood soup he said was a specialty, and this place had the best version in SF. What a great memory. We giggled like idiots riding there. KYLE DINH!

Then, let's go to the bar at the Phoenix Hotel. We can raise a toast in Kyle's honor.

I love this place so much and was so happy to learn it had moved from O’Farrell and Leavenworth where I used to live. The hot and sour soup was like an old lost friend! Hope to make it in August. I’m loving our dinners!

ok, I gotta clock in at 9:00 am, tomorrow, so I can arrive at our August NerdCon by 6pm ... that's my plan at this point.

(I'll be walking, so the bicycle and motorcycle peeps, and maybe scooter person will have one up on me. )

shucks. so actually I think we were looking carefully in the restaurant (because someone else had stuff). So perhaps not at the restaurant? Do you think they might still be holding it?

I wonder if that hotel is just about to be closed. It was shutting down .. not enough rockstars. I Would know as much as any newspaper reader of course.
