StonyBARF 21, September 25- 28, 2025

I am thinking of setting up a scavenger hunt next time! (punch cards or electronic tags).
We can give out prizes for stuff!

I hope everyone really enjoyed themselves! I missed seeing some regulars but it was a pleasure to meet the new folks! The dirt was dry but fun as usual. Carry a folding saw on some of those trails as it looks like downfall is happening again!

Hopefully we get some moisture soon to make the riding more awesome!

Dude!!! I love a good scavenger hunt!!! Let me know if you want help putting it together!!!

Great to see everyone and meet some new folks! (y)

Thanks to Dima for the great meat at the potluck Saturday night, and all who contributed.

Looks like I need to bring a flyrod for the next Stonybarf to try and catch some trout next time. Will need some pointers from SFMCJohn and Michele! I did enjoy just soaking in the river this time. :teeth

A little pew pew with Bananachunks rounded off some good times. :flag

All kinds of great stuff at Stonybarf, on and off the bikes, as well as around the campfire. Good folk!

Big thanks to Cootz and Pastapwr...... for donating some straps after I lost my footpeg retainers for the MxHauler to get me home this morning. I suspect they are somewhere along the way up St John's to our pew pew spot Friday. :facepalm

Edit.... almost forgot MOOOOOOOOOOOna! :laughing
LMAO     MOOOOOOOOONNNNNAAAAAA!!! View attachment IMG_3722.jpeg

Always love meeting up with the group.......Huge thanks to everyone who put the effort into showing up!

The weather was decent considering and I got some seat time in to areas I haven't yet seen so that was a bone-us. Looking forward to the next one......

Another great trip.

Dimitri sharing his meat with the camp was amazing, yet again. Those breakfast garlic bread brisket sandwiches made for a good drive home Sunday morning.

Hanging out with old friends and meeting new members is always a highlight. Great riding to top it off. Thanks Cabrito and Bchunks for towing us around. CCooter, H2O, Nate, it was great riding with you guys. Even if just cruising along behind you and eating your dust.

Thanks John for pointing me in the direction of the Triumph back hoe bucket. Cool piece of history sitting in a field just outside of camp.

What a fun weekend. Just the second stonybarf for me, so still dipping my toes into socializing with everyone. I was always caffeinated and hydrated and on top of that, guided around on some great rides. Also the meat, so good! Got home last night thoroughly exhausted.

We had a great time with you all again- Hazel too. Lynda and I rode a loop to get warmed up Friday. Nice, long, dusty loop to the fire lookout Saturday, and a great Sunday tour with Randy with some sweet single track!
Excellent food as always!

Oh MAN, that was a lot of fun in one place! So many faces that I wanted to see, and then some! I love that so many people showed up Thursday.

I got to crash an SFMCJohn sunrise party, CrazyCooter led a fantastic M3 Loop on Thurs, and then Cabrito led great rides on Fri and Sat that took me to some of my favorite Stony spots - Potato Hill, Goat Mountain (the gate is now locked again 😭), Summit Springs trailhead, Anthony Peak. OaklandF4i let me tag along for some remote hole punch demos. Dmitriy's meat.... Chicken Flickers.

HUGE thanks and appreciation to all that allowed me to follow along with the inappropriate scrambler - it held up a lot better than I thought it would.

Totes looking forward to SB22!!

I am trying, as I have before, to book StonyBARF 22. The website is challenging
