I was riding up the coast from Morro Bay through Ft Hunter Liggett three weeks ago and wondered if the SuperDuke GT with street tires would be ok for those roads when not wet. I was by myself and decided not to risk trying with fragile street luggage.
I was thinking of camping somewhere along there as well. Anyone have recent experience with the conditions?

Before October 1967 every motorcycle was an off road motorcycle.

All the dirt roads in the Big Sur area can be ridden with street tires. There's also a campground on the backside of Nacimiento.

Thanks. Sorry about the typo in the title. I saw a YouTube video of a Jeep taking that route over some deep ruts….
I’m aware of the two on NF road and two more on the base but have not ridden to them.
Someone else poster about Indian Valley before which got me thinking about them.
