post a *PIC* of your latest purchase (can be anything as long as you purchased it)

Nope, the 8 is spendy, but do to it coming out I got the 7x Saphire Pro Solar (that's a mouthful) on sale.

I once surprised my wife with concert tickets to see Bonnie in San Jose. I told her we were going to a concert but I didn’t say who. We managed to get in the venue and seated without her knowing who we were going to see. When Bonnie came out on stage, my wife was very happy.

I have the 6x Pro Solar, I'll run this one into the ground then upgrade to the latest and greatest.

I enjoy the features the Fenix packs, so it can show me how slow I walk/run/ride 🤣

I'm just starting to scratch the surface of what it can do
Coaster?

Well, hopefully, it was expensive.
Everything that’s official F1 merchandise is exactly that. Hopefully it fits. Since Hilfiger is a US brand, I imagine it’s US sizing. And not the nonsense I deal with for the brands I do work for. I’m XL in US sizing and apparently 3XL (and a tight fit at that) in some of the Euro labels that I wear for work.

Got some new tires for the 1994 Miata R which is harder than it sounds as 195/50-15 is a "rare" size in this day and age and, sadly, Costco does not carry that size. The offer tire hazard coverage for free while it is an extra cost elsewhere.

Tried America's Tire and while they allowed me to order and pay for some Toyo R1Rs I got a phone call telling me they were not available in the US at the moment which seems true as Tire Rack does not have them but at least says so clearly on their site.

So I said fuck it and ordered some Yokohama A052s which is dumb dumb dumb for a street car as a "normal" driver might get 20,000 miles on them...likely fewer as they are more for autocross and track use.

But as I only put 1500 miles/year on the car why not.

First impressions are expensive but worth it.

I had 10 year old Dunlop Direzzas on there before and these new tires are surprisingly much more compliant than I remember the Dunlops ever being.

Seem to stick like glue so the downside, on the street, might be they may never break loose a wee bit in the rear under power as I'd have to go way too fast to experience that I suspect unlike the more "normal" tires I've had on before. I like that in a car but, oh well, I'll get used to better grip I guess.

Don't buy these for street use unless you, like me, barely drive the car.

BTW, America's Tire actually asked me what tire pressure I wanted, (didn't just look inside the door), and actually got that pressure correct.

I'm not sure any tire shop I've ever been to got the pressure anywhere near close to what is on the door sticker; usually way too high.

SSD prices have tripled since I last purchased. I need one but there's no way I'm dropping $100/TB :rolleyes

That's what I was thinking a year ago but they ain't getting any cheaper and I don't want to pay what they might cost a year from now

I need your cat’s life carefully chronicled. Thank you for buying tools needed to do so. 😂
