Gas Prices

We were on 680 the other day going 75 with all the other traffic including a CHP

I just saw diesel for $7.25. Ooof. I managed to find 87 for $5.39.

Last time gas did this, we got small fuel efficient cars for a few years. This time it’ll prob be more electric cars. I’m down. Speeding up the transition should be good for everyone in the long run, maybe even in the medium term.

You guys are not doing anything for my gas sticker shock anxiety when we go to Cali in May. right now its $3.20 for cheap regular here in the swamplands.

RIP if you have a V6 or an old ass SUV

It's right about at that crossover point now where I choose to drive my electric car on my non carpool days versus take the motorcycle. The bike is considerably faster with carpool lane, but the electric car is "free" with all the solar.

Work is 100 mi round trip, and considering the extra delay for taking a car, about a dollar a minute is where I personally decide that it's better to suck it up and sit in traffic with the car.

Part of the problem is my bike gets maybe 30mpg, and I drive it like an absolute tool, but hey, that's what I bought it for.

Just near pismo…

How soon will it hit $10?
Oh and how soon will people start stealing gas again by punching the bottom of the fuel tanks....

The difference in Peruvian blueberries is significant, IME. Tart, crunchy and sweet...they're THE gift from the Gods! Seriously though, In the month of April I go into depression cause they're out of season for about 6 months....
real males don't eat blueberries! only socialist Swedish Kings do

$72.20 to fill my up 2014 Camry from Costco. RIP if you have a V6 or an old ass SUV
well, filling up for $84 compared to $72.20 is not exactly the end of the world, bossman

...Tesla drivers are laughing at us.
as they drive farther than us and establish longer commutes which create more asphalt concrete freeways and subdivisions, and OH WAIT the price of gas :wow

Personally, some of us can just choose to drive less. Commuters could make choices to use public transport, car pool or otherwise mitigate their dependence on fuel.

But grocery stores will be stocked with trucks that must pay the piper. I see the prices reflecting such on the shelf already. G'luck everyone!
