I got that..but 3.5.and 8.and other stuff. And alot of the self service stations did not work with my card But the pumps and autostrada take cash. (y)
Like most places prefer it here.

They do, now.

In general, and on average.

And, people drive differently.

They have exactly the same car as me at some point... with .. a choice of 1.4, 1.6 or maybe a 1.8 engine. And 2.0 . But here only the 2.0 was sold.

My citron aircross c5 is a 1.2 L 6 speed turbo. That accelerated to 150 km. Pretty fast. (y) but it's pretty ugly! I like Italian speed limits!

He claims that cars here get twice the mileage, unless that was tongue in cheek or he lives in Europe?

The fact is that European cars, much smaller on average, get much better gas mileage than we do.

I am quite sure Elon is getting a good return on his Candidate 'investement' right about now. No Chinese EV's here and Tesla is pretty much the standard. Why buy an EU EV when you know the parts and service for those will be even higher then the US made ones... When the battery needs replacing at least tesla has 3rd party options right?

I very quickly found a website about Italy, that has the USD/GALLON .. and the average price across their whole country is: USD $8.252 per gallon
Si, we're getting closer but it's still about 2 bucks OFF.

6.80 this AM at Chevron.
Needed a car wash and boy it looks good.
It also seemed cheap compared to the 22 gallons.
