I used to like the nfl back when it was a sport instead of a business.
I honestly haven't sat in front of a tv long enough to watch an entire game/show/movie in years... #adhd
(even tho the tv is always on due to raging tinnitus)

For the most part, no. I will occasionally watch a baseball game or motorsport race or MMA fight but generally I don't have the attention span and don't really care about the outcome. The tribalistic fervor people get for sports teams or their favorite (driver/player/whatever) is completely lost on me.

Anytime someone brings up "local sports team" or asks if I "watched the game" my eyes roll back into my head :laughing

It is weird that no combat sports made the list. Aside from NFL, I'm interested in MMA, and loosely, NHL and Boxing.

i.e. I am interested only in sports where heavyweights do regular violence to each other.

Baseball of today is so different. Pitch clock, no throwing over to first more than twice. Pitchers not hitting but yet they can throw at a batter with no repercussions and the league is in love with the Home run. Bring back small ball and what the game used to be.

Give me the old 70's and 80's baseball where it was a game and it was fun to watch.

Like the bicycle races, but more for helicopter pics of european countryside.
Don't really fan individual racers or teams.

Tunnel hull boatracing mostly for the big bell ring of 17k rpm

Fighter kites: competition and meditation when not facing off.
It's adrenaline or alpha state depending on venue, and crafting on the cheap.

Traction kites: they *will* move you. Cover your ass.

I mentioned being a fan of sports I did as a yute. A bit surprised I left off martial arts considering how much I was into it.

I left of surfing too and cricket and... and... there are a lot of sports!
I should have made the last choice every other sport in the world!! :teeth

Putting Golf on the list took a lot of self-discipline BTW.
 
Miss watching Tractor pulls, stadium off road racing, Thursday Night Thunder like short track racing, midget cars, etc. on ESPN.
 
Not long ago I stumbled onto a flat track race in progress on tv and it totally grabbed my interest. I watched until the end and thought I should watch more of this. Three minutes later I had totally forgot about it. :laughing
 
I voted NFL but I just watch listen to the Raiders. Haven't watched or listened to a MLB game in years, used to be a huge A's fan but fuck them and MLB.
 
Don't really watch sports on TV unless I have friends/company over. Prefer to watch live sports which is why I stick with the minor leagues. Pioneer League Baseball (Oakland Ballers/Modesto Roadsters).

Went to the Stockton Thunder (Minor League Hockey) on 10/17 and it was fun.

Plan on checking out the Stockton Kings (G League Basketball) this weekend as it's their home opener.

100% agree with you. But, I will still watch the games as I am a fan of both the Raiders and the A's but both owners have really screwed over the city of Oakland in their own ways. Of course, in the case of the Raiders, Oakland and the Coliseum were more than happy to bend over for Davis. LOL
