And here she is this morning, after finally getting put back together. I can't wait to go play!

Lookin' good Bonerov!

Thanks Ian,

It's been a lot of fun trying to get this thing dialed-in. It's still not quite where I want it to be, but it's getting closer. It's amazing how much more jump the 39mm FCR MX carb gives it vs the stock 36mm Mikuni. :teeth
I can't wait to hit some roads where I can try out/dial-in my freshly-reworked suspension. I'm bugging Luckett to take me out tomorrow, so we'll see. :thumbup

CR80 Supermoto, Plated!!

CR80 Supermoto. Street legal!

It doesnt get any more ridiculous than this....It's affectionately named the cratey.

RS125 front wheel and brakes, blueprinted motor, v force reeds, sudco carb, revalved legs, constant loss lighting system, marchesini rear wheel from RS125, michelin soft rains, pro tapers etc....

wheeeeeeee!

That thing looks like a blast! I wonder how well it would pull my fat arse, though.... My lil' DRZ struggles enough. :p

Hahaha...I let a 240lb friend of mine try it, and it still wheelied in first when it came on the pipe. I rode it in the rain this morning.....what a hoot.

I would LOVE to take her for a spin. Looks an absolute blast! I salute your creativity, sir.

Awesome! A rain front is the way to go!:)

Yeah, I went for a ride with Luckett yesterday. As you know, it was raining pretty hard most of the day. The new suspension, combined with the rain tire, performed quite well. We weren't pushing at all, but the front felt quite planted. I'm looking forward to playing around with that rain tire (Maxxis 6118) in the dry, and on the track. So far, so good.

Who did your suspension? Last time I saw luckett was NYE at Infineon cart track where he broke his collarbone. ouch!!!

Dave and Jim at Catalyst Reaction did my suspension. I haven't had a chance to mess with it yet, but I can tell you that it is A LOT better than it was. Hopefully, I'll get some dry weather soon so I can get it dialed-in a bit better. Maybe Prairie City on the 26th....

I have a 6118 on my XR600sm and I love it. Flat-ish profile, but it turns in fine and it tracks well. Traction is great and even a little front-end slide doesn't feel like a big deal. :cool

Good to know. I'm definitely looking forward to testing it out on the track a bit in the near future. In the meantime, it seems like it hooks up pretty well on wet pavement, which is a good thing.

Mods?
My bike puts down 46 to the ground. I want to get it to the upper 50s,

Very achievable Manny..Just might have give up some torque to get it though.

I did, But I'm happy with the way we have it set up. After the lighter crank and rod we did and the top end work It revs out much quicker and pulls very hard through the mid range and top end than before.

I used a combo of Mods:

The goal was to Boost performance and stay as reliable as Possible as I ride it everyday.

Full HRC power up Kit
XRS Ignition Module
Falicon knife Rod
Falicon Crank Work
Full Kibble White Head Work
Black diamond valves
White Diamond Valves
Ti valve springs
xrs valve guides
including Porting And polish work
Barnett clutch and springs

just to name a few
