long day at AFM races. this little dude was pooped! :laughing

I think he may have gotten a bit of sunburn on one of his legs. does anyone ever use sunscreen on portions of your dog? how do you deal with the fur? :)

I think I've found a worthy successor to my my last dog who passed away Jan.10th.
 
Yeah! Catahoula. Not many people know the breed. I've been gearing myself up for the Houla pup energy for months. Hope I'm ready. Her eyes are still changing. It's looking like one will stay blue and the other may go brown or hazel.
As far as sunscreen, I would be worried about the pup licking it.

yeah, we saw them a lot in the south. :)

cool on the sunscreen, I kinda thought the same....don't think it's toxic, but will ask the vet before using it.

you can use kids sunblock on dogs,put some on yer hands and rub it into the dogs fur,having a pure white dog myself we have to load up on the sunblock,but i put it on my pitie as well, the vet told me to use kids sunblock
