2019 - 2026 Wednesday Night Drags Sonoma

That was against "Merlin" he is active on this thread. It was very challenging trying to count in my head how many seconds before I bring the rpm's up to get ready to launch. I never did look to see where he was on the track. He has since made the electric bike much quicker, He has knocked about 11 or 12 seconds off its original times.
I know the feeling, I have a delay box and also were contact lenses so keeping concentration, wooding the throttle against the limiter for only 1-2 seconds and not blinking at the in opertune time was a challenge, I looked over at the grandstand and counted 1,001, 1,002 etc to 1,008 and then looked at the tree and wooded it, worked out ok I had a .015 light IIRC. LOL Kudos to you on getting that win after all that time on a pro tree.

Hey, next time you are there and see a bus run, can you let me know their speed and time?
It wasn't bus but sometimes this dude runs a grey VW Vanagon with Porsche wheels and a LS motor. Don't remember the times it ran.

Ah ha found it

Results from 10-14- 26 Sonoma Wednesday night drags.

The weather was pretty much as good as it gets for Sonoma early during practice runs. We had about 16 bikes, with several newcomers. I ran a 9.06 on my first practice run and that would be my quickest of the day. I got eliminated in the first round so I had plenty of time to spectate. The finals came down to Craig Love on his Triumph against James Tompkins on his zx14. Craig got the win on what turned out to be a fun evening. Sounds like the newcomers will be returning for more racing action. Last race of the year is November 4th.

That’s not fair! I was running my stock VW engine case with just four cylinders.

I do bet it was quick, though.
