Wife's oldest sister had to go into assisted living.

Almost perfect condition, 42.7k miles KBB says $20k but will sell for less. $18.5 which is likely what we could sell it to Carmax for. But most of their cars seem to have been involved in (repaired) fender benders while this one has not.

CarFax and Window Sticker copy attached. Driver's seat in photos is set for 6'1" Driver so plenty of rear seat legroom and luggage.

Pretty easy to get the number they would pay online. As long as it passes their inspection you get a check. Pretty easy.

Carmax is asking $22k miles with for FWD model on their site, as is Carvana for FWD without Premium Package.

We'd take $18.5.

Their estimating system is super easy and non-committal.

Fill out the questionnaire on make model amd condition, and they will tell you what they will pay for it.

As long as the condition actually matches what you're putting in the survey, they cut the full check amount.

I'm very surprised by that. it was about 2.5 years a go my ex sold her jeep though Carvana and it was much closer to KBB.

She was spending $16,000/month for 12 hours/day of in home care!

Not only that her "church" friends were stealing from her and some of her good "church friends" called Adult Protective Service which had done nothing before my wife, with the help of her sister, took over everything and now has power of attorney.

My wife did not want to get involved as there is a ton of bad blood over their lifetimes from her sister taking advantage of the parents by pissing away money and demanding ever more.

They are down at her old place now trying to get it cleaned up for sale.

I would say my wife has spent well over 100 hours the last few weeks untying this knot and putting a "solution" together.

We'll see what Carmax says when I show up with 2 "smart" keys as promised but only only one of them is programmed.

Spent $300 on the spare key and Nissan wanted another $300 to program it which they did not tell me when I ordered the key.

Fuck that; let the new owner do that.
