Friends in high places, sir.

We're close—less than 24 hours to our celebration!

You've probably heard we're having a few speakers that will say a few words mid-fiesta. Nick Haris, the AMA's Western States Rep will be joining us to speak and hang out—as you certainly know, the AMA has been very public and positive in its support of lane splitting in recent years, and Nick was there all along the way with AB 51. The AMA has also generously contributed to help make this celebration happen. Huge thanks!

Here are a couple shots of Nick from the Unification Rally earlier this year. Top: with CityBike columnist Sam Devine and road scholar / Sacramento operations queen An DeYoung (photo: me). Bottom: Waiting to speak at the rally, with Pockets from the Valley Vixens, me and Budman, who will both also be speaking (photo: Sam Devine).

Massive thanks to the AMA for helping to make this happen, and of course for representing us all over the US. If you're not a member of the AMA, you should join today. Seriously.

Total thanks to the AMA. The support for O/MC 0001 is really appreciated.

Barf is a unique website In the fact we care about riding over money. Having the AMA recognize that and actually doing the work to make that real is a bit of pride for me.

Right on Paul!!! :thumbup

I gotta pick up my leathers in the city tomorrow so hopefully I'll be able to make it to this.

Whammy will be at Sears Point testing vrooooom :teeth
Raise a pint for me.

That is (normally) a work day for me.
I will take it off, no pay, to be a part of this celebration!

Will also most likely split lanes to get there too! :thumbup :applause

Surj, in a small way to thank you for your efforts I'll also be paying for (at least) a years subscription to City Bike while there.
A contribution to barf/Budman will also be forthcoming.
I know that's NOT the purpose/plan/program.
Just my way of saying thanks!

I encourage others to consider likewise.

Nothings changed. :thumbup
