Bad Driving Compilation

Eh. Looks like every day in the East Bay. If you're gonna get stressed out by the stupidity of the driving public around here, maybe you need a new hobby. I'm in the same boat. In my truck I get really pissed by the bad driving. On my bike I just leave the situation as quick as I can.
 
I don't recall being stressed out at any point. Pretty sure I was laughing at just about every incident. Also pretty sure I conceded that none of the incidents were really big deals.

I got as far as the first illegal u turn, stopped the video and thought who hasn't done this before including you.

Edit...and I hit play again and just now noticed the massive "SMH". So yeah, I concur with most about the narration too.

Wow, you are seriously trying to find ways to honk at people. Look at the video at 4:46 and count how many cars are parked on the side of the road as the car in front is pulling across the street. I count about 9 car lengths ( about 5 or 6 cars on the road you pass with a major gap between the parked cars and then the two on the next lane over adding up to at least 8 car lengths and you have the nerve to honk.

You must be a real fun guy to ride with, I seriously throw up my hand AND "SMH" like you do in your video. lol.

at 55 seconds the car in front of you has already changed lanes in the commuter lane ( car half way in ), your bike is not even in the lane yet even though you signal to change lanes, you can clearly see the car is now in the commuter lane and you "gas it" like a douche would in this case like you own the fucking road and what the fuck is that hand gesture?

At 2:14 you are over the Line AGAIN. It is not okay for other people, but you get a free pass?

Illegal license plate placement? Well then pull them the fuck over and give them a ticket.

There were that many car lengths between myself and the black car because I saw him and slowed down. He's still a prick for pulling out into traffic whether it was close or not. It would have been closer had I not slowed down.

Am I blocking the crosswalks at any point? My front tire is barely in it in all instances. Who doesn't encroach into a cross walk just a bit when filtering up to the front anyway? When did I say other bikes can't do it?

The hand gesture to the Camry was pointing to my flashing signal. ie. maybe they should try using one themselves. And I didn't "gas it" at all, I was slowly accelerating and then the dude casually just slid over into the lane so I revved. And I was already in the lane as he started moving over...a signal on his part would have been helpful but people just can't be bothered.

If you can't see that the "Owned" was a joke along with the Mario Kart sounds I don't really know what to say...

You guys must *really* hate people on YT like Snowcat. I feel like I'm pretty forgiving compared to him.

You are way off on your description of the guy pulling out into traffic. Watch the video again. He was already crossing when it cuts to that scene where you are at least 8 or 9 car lengths away, and yes there is traffic so your speed would be adjusted for that. Just like you make a big deal about the next guy crossing heavy traffic on your side, you make all your gestures and then pull behind a stopped car right after lol.

Unless you think I'm on a Grom, how in the hell is that half my bike in the cross walk? At most I'm up to my handlebars, but I can assure you that I leave enough room for 2 people to walk shoulder to shoulder.

And you know what happened after the video cuts...how? I pulled behind that stopped car...and then continued to filter forward once I saw it was clear. And dude in the black car looked right at me and just went anyway. Guy in the gold car just went without even looking.

No, he moves over at best at the same time as I do. I was accelerating because that's what you do when you change lanes. Again, it's not like he was going to hit me...all he had to do was indicate his intentions and all would be good. Why is that so difficult for people?

Yeah, I went from the inside lane to the outside because there was nobody behind me. And yeah, I should have signaled...but unlike the Camry my signal wouldn't have given anybody an idea as to what I was doing.

Did you miss the part about the guy in the white truck leaving a giant car-sized gap ahead of him or are you too busy coming up with hilarious file names? He stopped moving forward as she pulled out thus keeping her from continuing. Her only mistake was assuming the guy in the truck wouldn't be a dick and would actually move all the way up.
You know, I've been a part of quite a few online communities but this is the only one I know of where people who have such an ability of actually meeting in person simply due to proximity are still such relentless assholes to one another. And I'm not just talking about my own experiences; it's a definite theme here.

Sorry if I sound like a jerk, but if you're going to drive around criticizing people for every little thing like you're Mr. Perfect, you open yourself up to criticism on your character. You may not realize it, but your attitude comes off kind of pompous and self righteous. Not trying to sound like a dick, just trying to give an explanation as to why you're getting so much flak on this board, since it appears to be a mystery to you.
