I can't think of the word senshi without thinking of Sailor Moon (美少女戦士セーラームーン / Pretty Soldier Sailor Moon)...

From the description of the character, now I'm thinking more along the lines of Ryu/Akuma, who wander the earth in pursuit of fighting. Akuma moreso since he has surrendered to the rage within.

Ikari-no-... um, something.
