Hey Everyone,

Wanted to drop some social on the calendar for those of us out in bridge and tunnel land. Join us for a casual evening at Mona’s Burgers & Shakes.

Here's the details:
📍 1574 Palos Verdes Mall, Walnut Creek, CA 94597

🗓️ Thursday, October 23
⏰ 6:00 PM

This isn’t a group ride — just a chance for everyone to ride their bikes in and enjoy dinner together before the nights get cold(er). Post up if you're coming so we can give the restaurant a heads up.
 
Is this place related to the Mona's that used to be in Concord on Clayton Rd?
 
You assume I'll come straight through the tunnel and not take the long way to ride Diablo and Morgan Territory first 😅
 
Maybe for me, I'll have a better idea closer to the day of :ride Would be nice to meet more BARF folks.
 
I’m 20 miles away in Pleasanton, I have no excuse but I’ll know better as we get closer to the date.

Sounds great! You may have some commute challenges, but the new 680/84 interchange made things a LOT better.

Agreed. The city doesn't have a monopoly on moto fun.
 
Tossing a bit of a bounce as we are 48h out. If you are in the East Bay, come join us. BARF-er fun doesn't always require a bridge and a toll (though I may ask you to go through a tunnel :laughing)
 
I'll be there, my rear tire still has a few millimeters before I hit the wear bars so I'm gonna see about finishing it off via Diablo on the way to burgers :laughing Hopefully I'm not throwing sparks on 24 on the way home...

It never has. Anyone can post up an event like you have. I live in the City for about one week out of the month, so that's where I ask folks to meet. I've been hosting social events to help build community for years now, including in the East Bay and as far away as Sacramento, to bring people together. It's nice to see someone else picking up some slack. :twofinger
 
Hmmm, The Unicorn sent me a text yesterday telling me it has been 10 days since it was let out of the garage.
