Cars that make your jaw drop.

I had to search for this thread, couldn't find it.
We did have Brats discussed, but no current pix,
so,
I found this out front of the local gun shop, & cannon repair.

Never seen that before. Pretty nuts little car.

It's the red car and the white car (Easter Eggs) that are jaw dropping in this vid. Not the Lexus.

An inheritance has me thinking hard. I think I would sell my current 2011 CTS-V to lower the pain. I actually like the looks of the Old girl better though so... :dunno

I can buy your CTS-V, or the ZX7 or whatever. I can help you with your pain

The CTS-V is definitely sexier, but I bet that CT-5 is fun to drive.

The Blackwing is good. Really good. I've had the Gen 2 and Gen 3 Bud. I liked the brakes on the Gen 2 best, but the Gen 3 is superior in every way. I'm gonna trade up at some point to a BW, but not yet...maybe. I'm watching a well loaded 11K mile BW at auction coming up. Not as clean as I'd like, but it may go cheap. Black/ black. Want to look at it for yourself?

Reach out to silversvs, he has had one for a while now.

The V coupe even today still looks like a spaceship, which is just so immediately recognizable in such an awesome way. But I’d still trade up for the new BW. Now, if you had the V wagon…well that’s another story. I’d never let one of those go.

The CT5-V BW is the last of its kind. And I’m not talking the manual transmission part either. It’s the last super sedan that actually sounds good, handles good, and has no hybrid gimmickry. All the rest, are turbo engines which kills exhaust noise, and are heavier than shit because of all the electrification. All the German derived ones are hybrid turbo V8s now. All of them. And most if not all have to augment the exhaust and pump in fake noise to make them sound like anything.

My old V is loved for sure. Purchased before they blacked out wheels and grills for the real cool. I had to order the manual transmission and when I told them to do the murdering before pick up the sales guy thought I was nuts.

Felt like buying white custom boots when I was racing in the 80's and nobody had them. My friends thought I was nuts.
A couple years later the black murder and white boots were the rage and common. :laughing

Keeping it means looking at motor work one day (95K) and some nit items for sure along the way, but I do love how it looks and how unique it is. On the outside is it perfect really. The new paint and badges made it look new. With the Corsa exhaust it sounds as sexy as it looks.

Very torn, but I assume if one day I was to do a full motor and suspension rebuild I would be saving a lot of $$.
The drivers side finger pad is being replaced next week as it is tempermental. As in when it is hot it works and when not... NOT!

Cadillac is not making those any more and I do fear sourcing parts for future nits will be a pain.

Tough decision, been thinking about that for some time. Sell the Coupe and get a the new Blackwing? The Coupes are such a unique piece of design history for Cadillac, but the CT5 V Blackwing cars are just unreal !!!:love::teeth
Sophisticated but with a super crazy, wickedly wild side. A Wolf in Sheeps clothing kinda thing. Was back at Spring Mountain last November and drove both the auto and the stick. That's another hard decision, stick or auto. Both are superb, but there's just that certain "something" about driving a stick. Now for that little something extra there's the "Precision Package" that you'll probably want!

This will be a bit of an issue coming; enchanter knows well too: ELR parts are hard to come by, hence the reason to divest. IMO: a 6-speed loaded (literally everything) is a car that be worth good money a decade or so from now....but I doubt you care about that. Given that; order what you want Bud. As FLH wrote: both tranny's are great. The Precision package is pricey, but it's the track setup for the car.
