Yeah, putting blocks on the rear to raise it is a lot easier than raising the front and dealing with steering and all that complicated stuff.

Is it an air shocked and extended shackled want to be hot rod from the 1970s with 50 series tires on its jacked up rear end?

It's definitely a 4x4 as you can see the transfer case when you zoom in.

Well dang. Would have never expected some JDM firepower swapped into that. Never in a million years.
 
A few years ago, my dad and I visited a long time family friend and his collection when we were down in Monterey. His collection in this one location was insane...most all American muscle, around one 100 cars or so. The AC Cobra is a 187 mile, 427. Everything else has none to almost no mileage on them. When he was in his professional career, he said he didn't know where to invest his money and he didn't trust the stock market nor stock brokers, so he invested In what he knew: cars. American muscle cars. Most were bought brand new...these pics are a smidgeon of the collection (at this warehouse). He's got several others own addition. I was blown away by the collection, but even more so; he's incredibly smart and remembers all the details of each car. When he bought them, the complete option packages, what he paid, etc. Everything. It was impressive as hell. We've known him a long time, since before I was born, but this is the first time my dad and I ever saw some of his collection. It was one of the days I'll never forget, mainly cause it was just several car guys talking about cars while looking at cars and having a great time. The white / black Chevelle was his daily driver when he was working. Such neat stories from some of these cars and bikes too....I'm bummed I didn't get pictures of his Yamaha 0W01 and FZR 400RR-SP. He got these through promotional work and rode them a little, but the FZR400 RR-SP was quite neat, IMO.

Yeah, L88 427. He recited the options on almost all the cars we walked past. Full boner town in there....I've got some more photos too. I really liked his Black/ white W30:
