Cars that make your jaw drop.

Fj45lv with a pretty looking but very tired F engine.
it was "restored" by someone who has a very bad reputation in the cruiser community (to those that know and have been around a.long time) but always pops up with a new company shell to keep doing impressive looking work but doing nothing right.
It's a wonder guys like that keep getting business

I want to be THAT guy, driving an old rust bucket, with a three pedals, crash box and straight cut gears,
Something kids can't drive.

This FJ is a V8 swap and carbureted…..

Well shit....might work as a part time commuter, but thinking hopes will be dashed on seller's reserve.

I really want to like it, but those colors just don't work for me. :green

Where did you see this in the wild?
It was at the upholstery shop for many months I didn't even realize it was gone!

The amount of custom on that is kinda mind boggling. I would love to see it parked next to a stock one to compare.
Cars and Coffee on 41st in Aptos / Soquel.

The owner was going down the list of everything that was done. It was a very long list.

i see you current high bidder....
the seller's own description doesn't sound like a good daily. it could be made so of course

We are alike and soooo opposite in ways; the color scheme is was drew me in.

Agree...seems a bit of a hassle. Then again. if $15K buys it (it won't), I'd be happy enough. I went to sleep thinking: I should pass on her and use those funds to finish the latest "project"....

Every generation has its dream car. For some of us, it wasn't an import or a modern supercar. It was a Challenger R/T with a 383.
This one is still making jaws drop all these years later.
Who had one, wanted one, or regrets selling one?

I raced this tube chassis '70 R/T up and down the west coast for 20 years (it was a Real cut up R/T still with it's VIN!), sold it in 2023 miss it but with all the dragstrips closing down on the west coast and a bit burned out racing I sent it back east. Great memories. I still have my 10 second Road Runner I am turning into a street /strip car. Last time it was streetable it ran 10.60's through the mufflers so should do that again soon.

That launch photo is ridiculous! The motorcycle guys on BARF think wheelies are cool until a Mopar starts doing them.
When the front end is in the air like that, are you still steering or just hanging on and letting physics sort it out?
Serious respect for anyone who can wheelie a car.

That Road Runner is badass. The "WILE B8" plate is perfect. Most of us would be happy just running 10s.
You're out there running 10s through the mufflers while carrying the front wheels like it's part of the setup.
Looking at that picture, I'm starting to think the wheelie is built into the dial-in.Honest question: at what point does carrying the front end become normal operating procedure?
Super Pro is one of the most difficult classes in Drag Racing…..
Respect.
