Cars that make your jaw drop.

As I may be in the market for something rusty, I was thinking of an old beater dodge truck,
They put these 6 cyl. flatheads in everything, for years.
Doubled up for marine applications, forklifts, two ton & up.
Did Mopar ever build a vertical overhead valve inline six ?
or go to the Slant Six, from the flattie ?

The only vertical inline six I know of that Chrysler produced was the 4.0 they put in jeeps

Clarksdale Car Show,
Lots of different stuff, I snapped.
This Mazda, for Barf's cagers, , ,
I snapped the pix, the owner, got excited, blasted me with questions.
I told her about Barf, and our aging bones,
She had the same stories, bikes hurt now, trikes too, topless is as close to motos she can get.
I mentioned a dirt version episode on "Road Kill" of MX 5,
She told of racing dirt with them somewhere in LA.
and, a used one in the local lizard lot, looking for a home,
I need to sit in one, see if I fit.
Sounds like a good day to me. :thumbup

OK then, I didn't think of AMC/Dodge link.
Yes I have heard about legendary service, of the inline, the V-6 not so much.
I was hoping for a sizable inline, I loved the 300 ci. Ford six I had.
The jump from flat to overhead with the economy slant 6 wasn't what I wanted.

Those things are all over the wholesale auctions....seems like one-timers, then sell. Vanderhall's the brand. Carmel or Venice are the models. Around $20-25K used for a 23'-24'.

Faster cars, same show.
My first car was a '58 MGA, there was a grey one there, stock. Talked to him, part of a MG club with a few cars in this show, too.
This red monster IS a MGA.
How about a Blood Red Daytona Coupe.

What about that Syclone in front of the Mclaren? That's the show winner IMO!

Peekaboo, I see you.
