Cars that make your jaw drop.

Poke-a-Matic buttons on the dash that many Chrysler products had.
Dad had a 64 Plymouth Savoy with them to the left on the dash.

Think the Edsel had buttons in the middle of the steering wheel where the horn button should be.
 
The good old days of driving a 75 Dodge truck with the bed so long you could launch aircraft off it and no power steering. I hated trying to back that thing up especially with a trailer. I poured a workshop floor using a 1 cubic yard cement trailer and it took about 10 trips and it as a tight fit to get that stupid trailer by the house to the backyard. only two good things came from driving that beast. arms like hercules trying to wrestle the steering wheel into submission and making sure I nailed trailer placement the first time so I didn't have to fight the wheel so much. Went fishing with a friend who had a bass boat. when we were going to leave he asked if I could back up the trailer and he would drive the boat on said so I said sure. Got his truck and backed it up to the dock with ease. He was shocked and said everyone he has taken has taken forever to get the trailer in the water. So told him the story about the old Dodge and said having power steering made that shit a breeze.

Kinda why I have more cars, trucks and motorcycles then most people would understand…..
That truck is one for buyers remorse…..I wish I could have purchased it….Geez

Here's a really rare first series '55 Chevy / NAPCO conversion. The first series '55 Chevy's were basically a '54 bodywork but with an "open" driveshaft and 12 volt electrical system.

There is a guy in Loomis, Ca., who's primary focus is the restoration of NAPCO equipped trucks. I've been to his shop and seen several
of his completed trucks. His work is extreme high quality. NAPCO Trucks

It is real. I sold a '73 Challenger that I had when I was younger. I had sold it because my long time GF lived in Lathrop and the gas was killing me. Bought a more commute friendly car. Fast forward a year we broke up and I was with my now wife and for our anniversary she went out and looked for the car to try and buy it back. She couldn't find it but I knew she was a keeper after that. I regret that shit to this day and wish I had never sold it.
