Do you believe

Two, actually. We have a Spark. Hatfield is in Hollister. I know him fairly well
Well, maybe that will help if you can get a Strike.

I was considering a Strike, but when I asked the question "Is it weatherproof, because it will be my rain or shine daily driver" the answer was, "it's a high performance motorcycle that you shouldnt ride in compromised traction environments"

So I took that to mean "no, it cannot be a daily driver", and that's when I lost any interest and Energica got my $30,000

I want my next bike to be one that does what the Verge says it can do, so I'll wait and see if they deliver or if Stark is serious about getting into big bikes, or if Zero, ever makes a bike that can DCFC, or whatever else breaks loose in the next 3 years or so.

That is where I have been for like 15 years with emotos...

"That's cool, but I'll wait until xxxxx gets better and takes a big step in the next generation"

Still waiting and watching.

Now that I have one, I don't think I can go back. Whatever I get next will have to be better, not necessarily the game changer. This Experia was a 50th B day present to myself. I usually have a prohibition against buying new bikes because I lose so much in depreciation, but the Experia really did it for me....and 50 seemed like a milestone.

I realize that I can be happy with current tech, so future tech will definitely be good enough.

Our subconscious bias manufactures a false dilemma where we decide this strange new version of motorcycle must be able to do everything........while we simultaneously have a half dozen bikes in the garage because we already know that no single bike does everything.
