Hey all,

Just got back from T. Hill for Elena's RS125 track day. Man was it awesome! A big thanks goes out to Carlos Neves for loaning Elena his 125 to flog. Not only did he let her ride it for 4 sessions but was literally jumping back and forth with the set up for him then her when their seperate groups came up. I'd also like to thank Marcus Henderson and Dan Jones for their track side and moral support as well as helping her out with her lines. Anyway, the track was fairly cool as well as the weather, barely in the 60's so it was a little iffy as to how she would fair. All said and done she started off in the B- group doing 2:30 somethings and by the 4th session she managed a 2:15.7 on her last lap after getting a bulked by, off all bikes, a GSXR1000 in mid turn. so who knows what kind of lap time she might have had. All in all a great day and a real eye opener. Elena said "it was the most fun I've ever had on a motorcycle" and can't wait to try it again.

Stay tuned for a few pics

A pic of Elena on the bike she rode with buddy Cameron. They teamed up earlier this year to win the rain soaked SMRRC 2 hour Enduro at Stockton. Cameron was also riding a 125 for the first time and managed a flying 2:11 on his fasted run. Another kid that will be one to watch for sure.

jesus! those times are amazing. Shit...now, not only can they whoop my ass on the small track but the big track also. Maybe they can tow me around next time I'm out there.

GO!! Elena and Cameron!

Congrat's Elena.. Carlos takes care of that bike. He can do amazing work on a two stroke. I think he finshed 3rd in points in his class.

Marcus is the a co founder of the Bay Area Two Stroke racing team.

Did the full lean racing team show up with the Aprilia rs50 w/ a 250 motor in it ?

You look great Elena with that hat. The more fun you have the more money it is going to cost your father:laughing . You and Cameron did a great job;)

Yeh, Rick and Ryan Corey (team full lean) showed up on their frankenstein RS50 with a Suzuki RM250 stuffed in there. It looked pretty fast. Not sure what lap times Rick was able to do, maybe somewhere in the high teens? Rick said it was pretty scary to ride with it being so tall and having such a short wheelbase. Maybe Ryan will give us a full report.

;) exceelent job and on a 125 at that.. Hey I like that color scheme
sorta reminds me of the Luthes I think his name is that rides 125GP

:wow

Those are some fast times for first times out...:thumbup

Yeah, where are the action shots?

I need autographs from them all, NOW.

My eBay business will have a nice boost, in say, what 5-10 years? :laughing

A note to Elena, Cameron, and Bobby:

Young children... oh so fearless. Your Dad's may not be telling you this, but time and money is not an issue. When you were all babies, they all went out and planted money trees in the back yard, and anything left over that your sponsors can't take care of comes from that fruitful tree. Keep on doing what you're doing. Make us all proud!

I think all us Stockton regulars feel somewhat like parents to all these kids! My new book: "It Takes a Mini-Race Organization to Raise a Child" :laughing

Nice to see future AMA Superbike champs or MotoGP champs growing up in our backyard! Congrat’s to Elena and Cameron for some fabulous times!
:thumbup

.ps Too funny… the fuzzy hat matches Elena’s new leathers!

I know this will probably bruise a lot of egos, but these kids are both TEN YEARS OLD!!! :wow :wow :wow

I was absolutely blown away by how talented these kids are! How would I know? Because we FILMED THEM ON TRACK! Now that there's a Thread posted I'll have to post some sample video clips so we can all see how impressive they really are!

Great job Elena & Cameron!
