Had high expectations but was not ready for just how amazing getting a a track would be. Add in the amazing community of people and top it off with an equally amazing group of instructors. Z2 the track day operators are incredible, well organized and could not be more willing and eager to provide support. Hooked for as long as I can ride. Hope to meet some bard riders out there. Next day is 6/20 but with PTT this go around.

Nice shot! Z2 is solid. PTT are my favorite outfit so I’m positive you will enjoy them as well. I’m a weirdo, though, because I like T-Hill west more than T-Hill east.

Track days are addictive. Keep having fun and keep learning. Riding track has made me safer on the street because I understand my limits on my bike and I’m a much better braker than I was before getting out to the track.

Right on.

The track is most awesome and opens the eyes to the right place to rock and great times!! So easy to get hooked! Enjoy!! :ride

Not weird at all! It sounds like east is faster and less techical so my guess is west will be my favorite as well. I do like speed but technical is my jam whether it is single track on a dirt bike or MTB, onewheeling, or deep powder in the trees snowboarding, flowing through the turns is just magic. Looking foward to trying PTT out for sure as well as safer, more competent street riding.

Thanks budman, hope to see you, two wheel tramp and other BARF aficionados out on the track someday soon! Got days booked at TH on 6/20, 7/25, 8/15 and 9/12. Also 10/5 at Sonoma after completing CA super bike school at Sonoma 9/29 and 9/29. Jumping it with two feet!...need to fill up my free time now that my kids are older with full schedules of their own.

Well... My trackdays are over, but I hope you find a track clan of friends.

Closing in on 70 and those decades are behind me. Even as a grandpa I was digging THill, but Laguna still held the key to my heart. Sonoma / Sears whatever was certainly most awesome back in the days before a chicane, the little PITA flip before T-10 and shortened T-11.

The track was exciting as hell, but very dangerous. Glad I got to experience it in its raw go fast form. My brain even though old would demand me pushing it to have fun and I know I won't bounce so.. best to just stay track retired.

At not quite 70 years young, sounds like a lifetime of fond track memories. Laguna is high on my list to try out, unfortunately dates didn't work out this season, but next one for sure.

Right on! Maybe I’ll see you at a ptt day some time this year.

I’m running Sonoma Monday 6/15 in B+ with Z2. Then TH West Sunday 6/21 with PTT. #28 black R7. Would love to connect with some BARFers. @budman - 70 old? Hmmm…never thought of it that way, although I’m a few years out yet. Just getting back into doing these after 10 years off. New attitude about them is what made me decide to go all in. Passing is fun. No need to try to win, or even chase lap times. Just passing.

Excellent report, welcome to track life!

Those first track days are so much fun! Yes, you have to go to Laguna Seca! Carters has the best deals.
