Get Fit, Stay Fit, Feel Good - 2026

4lbs of sugar, banana for scale. It’s only 18-24 bottles, so I should finish this in 7 days of riding.

Surely I won’t get any funny looks from TSA 😅

One of the dudes I work with is from Equador and is always saying how nice it is there. Hope you have a great time but why not just buy the sugar down there to avoid lugging around 4 extra pounds?
He doesn’t want it laced with cocaine? (I’m seriously just cracking wise here - not disparaging Ecuadorian sugar) :teeth

So it’s settled, @stangmx13, you should probably get your sugar from Ecuador instead of hauling some old boring American sugar with you.
I can see it now. “Yeah I started pedaling in Ecuador and like a week later I was in Ushuaia. I didn’t even need to stop and sleep.”

It’s half maltodextrin and some citric acid. I didn’t feel like taking the time to buy & mix. And good thing I made it ez on myself. I have no extra time before the bike tour starts. My 16hrs of travel has turned into 27hrs after a long delay in SD and a missed connection in Panama. I’ll be assembling the bikes around 2am so we can get breakfast at 7am and roll at 830am. Oy vey.

Dude flew home from Sweden yesterday and I was up for 26 hours straight it was a long freaking day.

I rode on @stangmx13 's 130mm Selle Italia with a big cut out today.

The heavens opened. Angels sang. I didn't stop due to discomfort or spend time fidgeting in the saddle. I just pedaled, felt good, and I am very happy.
