It's another year of Roland Sand's Design Moto Beach Classic and here we are. I was actually not going to race it this year because I was going to race SM Championship Taft GP. It would have been fun to race supermotos through the streets of Taft but unfortunately it was cancelled for this weekend. So my schedule opened up so I guess we're racing at the BEACH! Also unfortunately my Redshift is broken right now so I've decided to take the Light Bee and WR250E. One thing I love about Moto Beach Classic is that they have electric classes! It's not often I get to race against just electrics. I was planning to do something crazy this year and race 4 classes. It's going to be asphalt short track this year and those races go by fast I think I could do 4 classes! I raced E-Moto (Adult) and Supermoto on the Light Bee. I wanted to see how well the Light Bee will do on the asphalt short track against 450 supermotos =P Then I raced Run What Cha Brung and Electric Open on the WR250E. This year I was going to use my all electric pit power bank setup also.
Something interesting for this year was the Sur Ron was one of the sponsors of Moto Beach Classic and the Light Bee 2 has just come out. I find it interesting I will be racing the very first Sur Ron and the newest generation Sur Ron is here. I shot this video while they were setting up in the morning. Unfortunately I wasn't able to ride it.
I'm posting these video in the order that I raced them.
