:dunno

an ’89 Yamaha XTZ750 Super Ténéré would certainly bee a unicorn, and a suitable replacement for having to sell the FZR 400 ... :laughing
I would travel for for this old stove

This is what I bought. A 2007 KTM 950 Super Enduro with only 1900 miles!!! The previous owner purchased it and rode it sparingly. Now in his late 70s he has decided to sell the bike. I'm very fortunate.

The bike is mostly original, only a set of rally style headlights have been installed. OEM exhaust. Original battery and tires replaced last month.

Bike has been inspected by a KTM tech and prepped for sale and departure. I will need to do a few things prior to departure. Until then...... here's the bike!

Hell yeah! That thing is a beauty!

It’s like something out of a time capsule. What a find!

Talking about the seller I always find it hard to understand how someone can put all in the time and money planning, researching and buying a new bike, then barely using it.
I guess the thrill is in the hunt.

Cool bike, totally my jam. This era was the headwaters of KTM going down the path of making niche bikes for every possible use case and user taste. It really stood out to me when contrasted to what the establish Japanese brands were doing at the time (not much of anything for plated off road).

Back in the day I wanted one of those but knew I just didn’t have the right stuff, bought a 690E instead.

I lusted hard, too! A 950 dirt bike?? What’s not to love? I went and sat on one at one of the motorcycle shows. My boots dangled about 2’ off the floor on both sides. It was so ludicrous Eric took a photo of me on it. I’ll have to dig that out 😄

Congrats on the new machine, Racer! What a fun machine! I have a few friends that had them, and they loved them!

Whoa. That's clean as the Sultan's Countach. Great find Miguel!

950 Super Enduro R ? Munch Mammoth with knobbies?
You got it!

I already purchased a rear fender rack. I have a 1gal Rotopax that I will need to bring along with me. Also purchased a subframe brace, being sent from Canada. The subframes are not known to be robust.

I would like to install a short windscreen for the ride but the dual Baja Design La Paz lights (which are now considered collectable) look like they would prevent a clean installation. With or without, i'll be okay.

Looks like I owe lunch to JimX as he got it 3 hours before I posted. (y)
