McRib

And every single person is a Slim Shady lurkin'
He could be working at Burger King, spittin' on your onion rings (Ch, puh)

16 year old boys DGAF
Why I take a pass on ordering anything if I see a bunch of teenager boys working the kitchen of a fast food place. I generally avoid that shit anyhow, certainly don’t like it enough to take the chance given the wrong conditions.

Something like In N Out middle of the day where you can see your food being prepared, I’d take my chances.

Wait!!! You don't know, or remember, that Mcd's apple pies uses to be fried? They were so much better back then. They changed to baked Probably right around 1990 in an effort to make them "healthier". The fried ones were bomb!
They must have gone away not too long before I was paying attention. All I remember were these guys, which you always bought two at a time. But you best believe I’m gonna get in the action with the fried ones when they come back.

Got the fried apple pie today it was so crispy and good it was mmm mmmm good. god frying it made such a huge difference it was like night and day. too bad it's limited time only.

It's been so long since I've had mcd's apple pie, I never knew they stopped frying them. :dunno

Been more than a decade for me but the few times I had them they were crispy, I assume that means deep fried

My first baked McD pie was the last one I had. Must be close to when it started as I really only go there for the janky restrooms on the road. So like 35 years ago :dunno geez, now I gotta go see about it tho I’ll likely just have a bite or two. Did get forced into Taco Hell last week and the enchirito was not totally disgusting and almost but not quite tolerable :laughing

I’d never mess with anyone’s food no matter how much I disliked them. It would make me worse than them IMO
I have never worked food service in my life, I do not have the patience for humans to endure it. My brother however did at Burger King, he is a crazy person, and he certainly did horrible shit to peoples food who annoyed him.

I have a few basic rules when eating out, NEVER order off menu. Fuck all the, "Your Way, Right Away," advertising. That is an excuse to get ballsack on your food. Order normal, on menu shit, don't ask for anything special, and never, ever, allow yourself to be seen saying or acting in any way that is unpleasant or even interesting to people who handle your food.

Yup, we got some today, and they were crispy yummy-ness.
I am still butt hurt.

Went yesterday. Ordered two fried apple pies. Was tempted to do one and one strawberries&cream, but decided to stay true to history since I’m pretty sure it was just apple only back in the day.

I’m standing there a little longer than I’d expect, and they call my number to ask if I ordered apple pies and then to tell me “still cooking.” I ask how long. She tells me ten minutes.

Ten minutes?! TEN?!?!?1

Nothing in this whole place takes that long. I still remember the cook times. And fries were the longest at 240 seconds in the oil. 144 seconds for a quarter pounder on the flat top. But fucking ten minutes…what are they deep frying a turkey back there?

I didn’t want to wait, so they gave me blueberry pies instead (didn’t even know that was a thing). Not the worst thing I’ve ever had. But still a disappointment.

Will try again in a day or two and report back.

at JIB the longest thing was the spicy chicken patty and that was like 3-5. Although we would do that shit just so they would not order it.

Ha ha ha ha ha.

You don't say?

America, where frivolous lawsuits are a tradition.

A federal judge on Friday rejected McDonald’s request to dismiss a proposed class action accusing it of defrauding consumers about the content of its McRib sandwich.

The plaintiffs accused McDonald’s of intentionally shaping McRib patties with ridges to resemble pork ribs and make diners believe the sandwich contains rib meat, an expensive cut known for its higher fat content and rich flavor.
Consumers said McDonald’s actual use of lower-grade pork products including shoulder, heart, tripe or stomach caused them to overpay for the McRib, one of its most expensive menu items.

Speaking of which, they're back in limited release, including SoCal.

So I got to feast on one the other day.

Yummy!

And this is why we can't have nice things.

I mean, lets say they win. Guess what happens?

McRibs are already know for disrupting pork future markets as it is.

National on sale day is Nov 2. Some franchises have started selling early. I’ve had a few already. Good times.
