The STORY or rumor is Pedro is going to take over for Pecco in '27.
 
So far his vibe is strong. Looking forward to seeing his progress.

I do not disagree but it is a Yamaha.
 
If anyone can make the Yamaha V4 rock my money is on Fabio.

Interesting take regarding more "whole bike" aero and not just downforce from wings... "but now the real key is how the entire bodywork interacts with the air, especially in the cornering phase, where there is some ground effect." Aprilia's 26 bike looks like they took a lot of that to heart. A lot of new aero just for cornering. Looking forward to 27...
 
Color me shocked.
Quartararo will leave Yamaha after agreeing to a deal with HRC for 2027 and 2028.

Honda probably threw money at him but the main motivation here was really the tractor of a bike. No one can say Fabio didn’t give them the chance to improve but he’s been signaling his disappointment for a long time.

I’m happy for Fabio. Honda was looking better than Yamaha last year with the two factory riders while Fabio faded from podiums.

It will be interesting to see who sticks with HRC. Honestly I hope both do with one moving into Zarco's seat. Good move for Fabio. Yamaha stepped on their own inline unit.

Martin to Yamaha is a :wtf for me. I don't have a warm fuzzy that Yamaha is going to get back to the level to win.

I think 2027 will be more of a crap shoot and Manufacturers will all start the season on a more or less even footing with new regs and tires...could be anyone's season. But it's clear Fabio was not impressed with his early rides on the V4...yet I too am surprised on Martins flip to the blue. Cleary Honda valued Fabio more than a battered and bruised recent champion in Martin. Could Fabio have taken a cut in pay to win? Pedro is next...
 
True... Pedro and Fabio on HRC would be one powerful duo worthy of facing up Ducati.

Pecco has won some shit. The 25GP and he had one crappy year. Hope he bounces back this year and Acosta gets his win…. Or a lot of them!!
 
Good review of day 2 of testing at Sepang...Yamaha drops out of day 2. All their riders stayed in the garage due to V4 engine issues...uhg. Fabio out for remainder of testing.

Can't find that video where MM93 passed PA37 at an insane speed differential. It was in Pedro's rookie year.
