Well this should be interesting. Take four MotoGP known fast guys, put them on the outgoing liter MotoGP bikes, and have them put on a show to entertain the F1 fans at COTA next year. Sounds like a hoot. Wonder whether it’ll make anyone there consider adding MotoGP or roadracing in general to their watchlists.

Cool stuff. I might have to go. We might have to go.

I'm thinkin. Always wanted to catch an F1 race there anyways - MGP would be a huge bonus. Group ride?

That is a long ride!

Just seeing the crowd size, there is no way I want to mingle with that many people.

Yeah, long one for sure. Which is why I still haven’t been to Austin or Big Bend NP, both of which are on my radar so when the opportunity to hit them arises, I’ll take full advantage. OTOH, Loreto, Baja Sur is a long ride, too, and I’ve done that one three times at about 3000 miles RT per.

Looks like it’s similar distance - about 1500 miles from here to Big Bend, and then another 400-500 to COTA. So it’s a 10-12 day trip, minimum. Could make it a big loop, ride down to Baja, take the ferry across from La Paz to Topolobampo, ride up Copper Canyon to Big Bend. Then ride on to Austin for the F1, the meander on back via Albuquerque/Santa Fe, Tucson, Route 66, maybe Flagstaff.

Or… put the bikes on a truck in Austin and fly home :Port
