I have one on one side. Both sides would not make a difference. Stair is to wide to use both.
I am too concerned about getting knocked around by the Dog/Dogs. Love hurts I suppose.

6 hours short of exactly 4 weeks from the fail on the stair.
Mrs Budman seemed stressed during the pick up and the short drive home but soon as we walked in the door she calmed and has been great. Like the old days feeling when she got stuck with me mending from moto boo boo’s kind of feeling. Actually cool to remember this is not her first rodeo and she is still willing to deal with me.
The stair was easily defeated. Checked out my new rehab room. Put on new sweats, checked out the bathroom upgrades …. it is criptacular! Had a good lunch, did my PT, did the dog love thing, took a b-hit and now chilling watching young pilots trying to become Navy fighter pilots at Top Gun school.

I had to watch that series with the sound turned off...it was painful.
As a former Marine that was assigned to TOPGUN, I hate that they throw words "Top Gun" around with so little respect for the actual squadron.

when it comes to a cane I find a good hard wood cane is best and can be had pretty cheap. You'll have to cut it down to the right size and get a rubber tip for it but it's nice and sturdy.

I even have my crutches, those $400 dollar jobbies, Kaiser sold me.

Congrats on being home! One dark side of opiate withdrawal, especially after a surgical amount, is the sensation of increased pain, due to reality and added to by withdrawal. Bear with it and 7 days from now it ought to recede back to manageable. Slow and steady, you’ve got this.

Had home PT review this AM. Essentially a PT session that is testing your level. It was good.
Up and down the stairs was easy. Killed it on bed squats.
Doing some exercises where the dude put his hand on my hip/leg with a little pressure that stopped the weird mechanical feel of bit moving. He said when the muscles get stronger they will do the same thing and it will disappear.
Still need to get a work spot arranged but the card table is OK for a while.
