Photos of your bike on location

On a fly and ride I rode a few days with a large windshield but had to take it off when it got hot. I put a large screen on the latest Tiger mostly for noise reduction on my Colorado trip and dealt with the heat. I think for noise it’s big screen or no screen. Wish I could say I heard that somewhere but the hearing is fading.

I can see that. My 750GS has a itty bitty screen (I think it's mostly to provide mounting points for a larger screen, and to keep water off the dash). But I don't feel I need a screen. When I test rode a new 1300, I felt the screen was more in the way than anything, but that's just me not being used to it I think.

I have always liked to look over my screen and not through it.
Me too. Had to get a bit used to it when roadracing. Chin on the tank stuff.

Street riding looking through it is just an annoyance. Plus I am fairly tall and the chin on the tank is rare.

Terrapin Station, Brewer road, Sedona.
One of the original barns of Sedona, down in the Ranger field offices/Park compound.

As to fly screens, my Hyper and Triumph had them, used them to hide from monsoon,
duck behind it like a miler, down the back straight,

birthdays were also celebrated. these three were born exactly a decade apart, and have a tradition of marking big ones together. that’s Mr Clay in the middle, the “First Rides” guy who teaches tykes to ride motorcycles:

Curious about the "Easy Button"
Does it really find gas, fix a flat, pull a bike out of a ditch, rejet the carb, and heat a can of stew?

I want one
With the Rade Garage 1.5 gal auxiliary tank, I get 5 gallons total and the 701 is pretty fuel efficient until you sustain California interstate speeds...so it kinda does find gas. Flats, you're on your own. It's easy to ride off-road compared to big ADV bikes so I can avoid the ditch before ever needing to get out of it. And it carries luggage well, so I can bring cans of stew and my jetboil. 😁

Beaters, , , a pair.
Two ancient single wides on this lot.
The idea of pulling these wrecks, and replacing with smaller park models @ 399 sq ft, two or three for the lot.
This will add more & cheaper housing into the mix, on existing city scape, and make them owners, not renters.

Hey @SFMCjohn Crown Moto spied you this weekend! This was on his Facebook page.

:thumbup

thanks for the heads up, what a fun day that was—I can tell I’ve got a big smile underneath the helmet in the photo. 🥳

I’m leaving for Baja on Wednesday, and Baja Bound Mexico insurance wouldn’t sell me collision, because this 2000 KLR is twenty-five years old. :laughing :facepalm

(that’s Mr @kalle behind me on his pre-gen KLR. he’s leaving for Baja on Friday with his gal and KLR in his truck, and we’ll meet up on the bikes at Melling Ranch on Sunday on our way to watch wales in the San Ignacio lagoon. so this past Saturday was a bit of a shake down ride for that adventure. :ride :blah )
