What time is the game?

My schedule won't allow me to head out until Saturday morning, and I'm planning on stopping in Atwater at the museum. Anyone want to ride out from Mariposa and meet me there? I'm a pretty decent tour guide and can tell you a little history of almost every aircraft on display. Once we're done we can ride back to Mariposa via any route.

that would be sweet if the timing works out, i love me some aircraft

game ends 11:30am, i'll be kickstand up by 12, which would put me at the air museum around 2:30pm

Hmmmm.

I was hoping to arrive at the museum earlier than that. If the rest of the BARFers want to slide until the afternoon, I'm open to it.

10-4 :thumbup

Just booked at the Mariposa Lodge Saturday night, I put in BARF Rally 2026 and your name @budman in the special requests so hopefully they can track it down and only hit me for $175 :teeth :ride 🥳

Right on Corey!!

Look forward to seeing ya! :ride

Thats kinda late. Barf cocktail hour normally kicks off around 3.

I'd be down for this rally. I live in Auberry which is only about 45 minutes of devilishly epic corners away from Mariposa. Not sure I'd pay full pop for a room unless somebody wants to share a double? I'll even shower first! 🤪 Is there a route laid out from Mariposa or just a Yosemite route? Any dirt involved? I have a few bikes depending on how well it's paved....

Hey John.

I will add you to the private forum tomorrow.
Not seeing any off-road folks in the mix.

Discussions on routes are on going in there.

The Chinese cousins (Meandad and thecUnicorn) are dual sport ADV bikes :x

True but I have not seen any chat of getting dirty.

I can give you a pretty good estimate of local road conditions as well if you're planning on that. The Sierra National Forest website is a good start but a few roads aren't opening until May 15th.

I just tried calling to see if any rooms are still available, and I let it ring more than 20x, but they didn't pick up. I reserved a room across the street through Expedia. :dunno

Janet will be joining me. Just getting to Mariposa will be her longest ride ever, so not sure if we're riding on Saturday.

*edit*
I'm taking Gwynne's reservation, and canceling mine for the place across the street.

Access to the forum is a go Hun!

I think the Motel staff is pretty lame in general at this point. I have never had this sort of issues with any spot before.
