post a *PIC* of your latest purchase (can be anything as long as you purchased it)

Me too - I'm a former iPhone/Apple fan boy hater so I'm having a hard time admitting that I like the damn thing. It does what I need quite well...

so, how *you* doin? :teeth

gah I need ammo. Which is why my next post here will be pics of the lower build, hopefully followed by a dedicated .22 upper that I can afford to feed lol

Oh, and my most recent large purchase...

how well does that ambi bolt release lever hold up? it looked really silly on the Magpul site, but now I'm not so sure.

No. You cannot build an AR pistol from just any lower, that would be an ATF no-no. The lower receiver has to be marked "Pistol" (and DROSed as such), or you can build one yourself out of an 80% paperweight.

This thread will tell you all about how to own an AR pistol in CA legally.

Best $20 you can spend on the AR. I can't believe it took 50 years before somebody thought of it. Basically it makes it so you can do all your admin procedures with your right hand on the pistol grip. No more juggling the rifle around between your left and right hands.

With the exception of my AR-57 (where it doesn't fit) all my ARs have that BAD lever installed now.

anyone want to buy them when I am done. I think they may have a salvage title.....

The K.S. parties will be at your house now, right? :D
:laughingYeah and the lifeguard will be dressed like an aquatic umbrella girl*.

*provided I can get my wife out of town for the duration of the aquatic umbrella girl K.S party:teeth

About 550 square feet of concrete.
Oh, hell yeah.. Nice job… We had some 'extra' patio space at our old house and it was fantastic. We put an insulated hard cover over it with a couple of fans. On weekends ,when we were home, we practically lived out there when the weather was nice...
