Kinda weird the all in one wash/dry units haven't gotten better yet.

I wash and air dry everything but also don’t live on the pacific so…

FA and found out, battery was disconnected, didn't help.

First start was okay, but still CELs.

Now a little trouble with starting, after disconnecting battery, the engine dies...

.. battery terminals are okay, air box and filter seem okay...if not even clean

I think the car is telling you it is time to move on.

You are the only person I can recall on here constantly posting about their POS car! :laughing

To be fair, I don’t really post about Pepper my 2006 Sprinyer. Dash often looks like Christmas with all the blinking lights. :laughing

I’m wondering if your car may have ingested a little water resulting in a very slightly bent rod. Will still run with a lopey idle.

Truth.

I’d love to see slayer and/or suicidal tendencies in LA. I imagine the show would be wild.
Field trip to Indio might be in order....April ;)

Thank you for reminding me, last I looked Suicidal Tendencies was only in Europe

Screw anyone who calls my car a POS

It drove through a big puddle at highway speed at 11:30pm right after a snow storm. Simply needs a lot of maintenance

Currently there's whistling from the turbo

I’m not making it up about the hydrology possibility. If that’s the case your comprehensive may cover a motor.

What the actual.. :laughing ... didn't think of a motor

Oh yeah it's running lamely right now, it's parked. I think I'll brave a 2 mile drive, just gathering coffee strength

OK, that's this time, how about the other dozen times? :laughing

Nah it’s okay I haven’t posted my living room, nor styrofoam recycling but then again I’m told I’m different than happy highwayman ;)
I had problems with my 1976 VW Rabbit but it was a great car (ate transaxles) until I gave it to my brother and he got hit head on by a wrong way drunk driver.

He survived with zero injuries remarkably enough.

RIP Rabbit.

This is the only photo I have readily at hand of it; through a fence while playing Volleyball in a park in Miami likely around 1980 or so.

I love my Jetta. Your Vee-Dub just needs a little lub!

you're kinda wrong though, actually I'm mostly posting about routine maintenance. It did wear out basically, tires, brakes, etc.

on this particular VW, the start-stop button was certainly one real issue that I recall OTOH--indeed, thinking quickly I cannot recall of much else. (* - right, I remember posting about the button 1-2 weeks ago, that it's replaced)

but.... since I have 2 VWs maybe I post double :)
