I used to help a friend, single mom, watch her daughter when she went out on dates. The girl was a mess, her mom was a party animal. Every time that kid saw me she'd ask for help with homework. I know I helped her and I enjoyed a kid that I wasn't vested into.

Happy Friday All.

Kids are a special PITA that not everyone should have. I enjoyed my experience for the most part. That 5yo or so that loves you unconditionally and thinks you are the coolest thing ever is really cool to feel. I can feel the warmth around my heart just thinking about it.

Now I just want them to survive on their own and be happy.
 
No kids, I can't afford that noise. Officially sent my resignation notice to the company that manages my contract with Zoox. I offered two weeks because I'f prefer to leave on good terms but have heard of people getting off-boarded within a day or so of notice so I may be a full time bike shop guy sooner than later.
 
A kid and a dog, you got it all! Just buying cat food is gonna put me in debt. Unlike my cat though, at least you'll have a human to look after you later in life.

We're going to start an old people commune at my house.
 
Heli on westbound 50 in Placerville. Couldn't see anything on the road, but some firefighters were roped up for heading downhill off the side of the freeway...
