Post / Chat whores post here (2026)

I never understood the drive-through shit. I'd rather get out of my car for a couple of minutes anyways. And yeah, it's like ten minutes vs. however the hell long in that drive through line.
You're preaching to the choir, dude. If it's McDonald's (assuming I'm at McD) okay sure because there's almost no line.

Some years ago I was visiting SF with some college alum friends and they wanted to go to this bar that had Pliney the elder? Or Younger. I don't remember which but the line was at least an hour. I was like okay... you guys have fun. I'll be at the bar across the street where I can get a beer in 1 minute.

There is no cut of steak, no beer, no liquor, no nothing I would wait in line more than 15-20 minutes for. I don't care if it's the last unicorn on Earth. I hate lines.

The popularity of In 'n Out escapes me.
It's a good fast food burger. And to be honest, they've kept their prices pretty honest considering inflation, supply chain, etc.

When I look at the prices for places like McD, Burger King, Carl's Jr., etc... I'm thinking 'are you guys fucking kidding me?' They're approaching prices where I might as well go to a restaurant and get a burger twice the quality. These fast food places need to stay in their lane and remember what got them to the dance.

I did like Habit Burger the one time I tried it.

Habit does make a good fast food burger. Even the Habit has backed off on their pricing. Whoever is sitting at the table in corporate conferences is paying attention to the market.

The first few times I tried Habit, the pricing was like 6-7 dollars for a hamburger. You want cheese? Boom 50c. You want mushroom? Boom 50c. You want onions? Boom 50c. Etc etc and now you have a 10 dollar burger.

Fun fact, the first Habit location was just up the street from me when I lived in Goleta. :teeth

In n Out, they're like "What do you want?" GIVE ME EVERYTHING! "Cool, same price."

Have you recovered yet?? Did you let tired arms stop you?? Do your arms have to be I perfect condition to go ride?? Yes I am fucking with you in the hope of never hearing that tired arms stopped you from riding.

(you really don't know this?) about 22 or 27 years ago this one was , I think, an OpenGL or other rendering animation that created a dancing baby. It was one of the first of its kind . I didn't find it anything special but many people were "look at it!!!"
that thing some people have about clowns - i kinda have it about babies.
