Now all of this is interesting information,

I run 215/40-18’s on my Mini. Fronts 39 psi, rears 36 psi
But did you know that this corresponds to a 3.4" sidewall ? .and that the stock size is 205?

I run a 3.5" sidewall with a 225 width . :x

You win, your profile is thinner and more pressure-sensitive than mine!

Well I'm at 63-64 Fahrenheitz during the day and 54 at night, so i can't tell heat jokes

I did put air in my tires. I used the free compressor that I found on the street, and it wasn't quite working, it was leaking air, and I had repaired it and now it's working beautifully. And when I repaired it I posted the whole saga here on the forum about 2 years ago (back when TZ was still reading)

The compressor topped up each tire in like 10 seconds.. so surprised. (Went over 40, I was like whoa, baby. ) Thus, I also verified that the compressor is still working

So...now you know 😀

Yes. Stock on a first gen Mini with 18” rims is 205/40. But 215’s fit fine, though I had to remove the 5mm spacers the car came with. You can actually run 225’s but that is getting tight. I’m sure the tires were very helpful at a track day I attended with the NorCal Shelby Club at Sears. I ended up lapping the entire field of 600+ HP Shelby Mustangs, both vintage and new.

It seems I've misjudged. It's so cold that I'm actually at "feels like" 54 Fahrenheitz. That's what the Internet says

(For those concerned the previous bus picture is of the 5 bus, that means it's on Fulton.)

Well nerds, I am the proud owner of six new VW Golf tires today, a full set for our bike hauler 2019 GTI (the sound of silence, bliss, to be sure, Michelin Pilot Sport 4 AS) , and two for the Golf R, Hankook Ventus something something OEMs. This drives me absolutely fucking batshit having two new and two half - worn on the R. Fuck. Sometimes I don't mind being OCD, right now I am hating it. Well, out of the deal I ended up with a tire + rim assembly to serve as a spare set at home. Calm down Ken, you twit, people in the world have real problems. Good night.
