Oh yeah, I haven't updated y'all on the adv situation.
Exhaust valve broke at the stem. Minimal damage but I picked up a new head anyway. CSC didn't have any valves so those are coming from China so while I'm waiting I decided to take a Dremel to the ports to clean up the factory casting marks.

Glad the damage was minimal, hopefully that exhaust valve was a one off defect and the replacements are solid.

I'm very convinced it's a case of misuse bordering on abuse. It's only a 450 single and I wring its little neck most of the time I ride it.
It hit the break-in mileage keeled over in a tight left hander at redline. :rofl

Also the bike seems to be a "Friday afternoon or Monday morning at the factory" unit. What you want is a Wednesday build day unit. Everyone is on point and making solid assemblies. Fridays and Mondays are for party prep and recovery not work.

I'm trying to install some air horns on the Road King and I found some 5/16ID tubing that fits on perfectly.
It is a ridiculously small thing in the scheme of life but I am very pleased. Everyone has 1/4 or 3/8 and I finally found that Goldilocks size I needed.
