Just like they would do if the shoe was on the other foot.
 
I suspect the longer I am out the less likely I'll be able to get back into the corporate world, might already be too late for that. At least without doing the whole going back to school thing. But yeah, I'm gonna give it a year at the shop and see how things go most likely if everything would just stop being so damn expensive it'd be easier to try this out.

lovely to live here, but I must admit, being like a crab 🦀"in lukewarm water", it has muddled my brain a little bit(a lot) that it's tricky/expensive/tough, sometimes icky/to live here.
 
My flights to and from Michigan were cancelled because O'Hare is too busy. Had to scramble to get alternates.

Grrrrr.
 
O'Hare has a LOT of cancelled or delayed flights and the FAA is cracking down so airlines are like "fuck it, we'll cancel 'em before there's a traffic jam how 'bout that?"
Here's what they emailed me:
We apologize for the inconvenience caused by your canceled flight through Chicago. To improve reliability at O’Hare this summer, the FAA is working with airlines to make schedule adjustments at the airport to reduce day-of delays and last-minute disruptions. Your flight was canceled as part of these schedule adjustments.

Yay capitalism.
