Bicycling everyday is rough though

Actually, my first bike in SF was an upright hard fork MTB / ATb as they call it. Hella comfortable
 
I have a beater I'm gonna try that on. We'll see, can't really justify it, but building up a cool new bike would be fun

I bought a NOS handlebar from eBay for my Canondale Lefty mountain bike which raised the grips about 6”. Then i swapped the knobbies for high pressure slicks. It could still be ridden on rough dirt roads but the difference it made in comfort was amazing.
 
You could do the same for your road bike. Though you would likely need new brake levers.

I’m contemplating parting with my Tundra have no clue what it’s worth. Bad paint on the doors had the roof and hood repainted recently to stop them from rusting. Timing belt religiously done with the works every 60k miles. Recent suspension work done new tires etc

Looking at a 4X4 Sprinter. I just can’t quit them.
