It was cool 😎 to clhang out with the above-mentioned barfer for a beer 🍺 last night, but I'm too cold to wear T-shirts with Merch nowadays.

On a warmish day I have to opt for a twofie, long sleeve underneath and some corky shirt on top.. like the one that says AFM #000 Internet Throttle Therapy or something :newbie

Good catching up, would have stayed longer had I not had that show to attend.

Currently caffeinating and debating doing a bit of studying for my interview tomorrow.

Mostly I'll just read up on ad tech to refresh my memory and make sure I say the right words 😆 everything else.i can figure out on the fly unless they get super specific during the interview.

The lodger goes home tomorrow, she's gotten rather comfortable here.

morin horin. My back's still jacked, went for a ride yesterday and could barely get on or off the bike but riding seemed to make the back feel better.

I once read an article by Kevin Cameron on why riding helped his back.

Movement is good therapy for some injuries. For backs a lot of the advice nowadays seems to be around stretching for range of motion and pain management and working on strength for better support in place of surgery. Does suck when they get sore though.

I have a few damaged discs in my back and neck. Riding motos is horrible for my neck due to the wind and helmet putting pressure on my neck. Riding motos is awesome for my back as it keeps me moving.

Interesting. I think I did something to my neck a while back, but thankfully motos don't bother it. Cycling on my road bike makes for a sore neck after an hour though. Mor upright positions seem to be fine.

Just got back from the recycling center. Scored 15 bucks and change. Took that 15 bucks and went to the store for a 6 pack of beer and a bag of Fritos chips. That's 15 bucks I didn't have this morning so I consider recycling free beer and free snacks.

Also, I was at a red light and Michael Jackson - Wanna be Startin Something was on the radio and I'm dancing in my seat chanting "MAMA SAY MAMASAW MAMAKUKSA MAMA SAY MAMA MAKUKSA. TOO HIGH TO GET OVER. TOO LOW TO GET UNDER. YOU'RE STUCK IN THE MIDDLE AND THE PAIN IS THUNDER."

The people in the car left of me were staring at like "This negro is crazy."

At least it's a song from a black musician. I get weirder when I'm on my bike at a red light jamming to Katy Perry or Lady Gaga...

What kind of motorcycle do you ride?

I have a friend with similar problems as you. He had to give up riding bicycles. Though he did enjoy riding a recumbent which was comfortable for him. He never bought one though.

Right now, nothing. My DRZ is non-op because it just needs a lot of work and I am not sure I want to put the investment into it and I don't have cash to buy something else. I've been mtn biking instead, which is good for the neck, but not great on the back. Go figure.

But to answer your question, I have mostly ridden upright bikes. Either supermoto or Adv. It's not horrible, but when I was living the east bay and commuting to Oakland every day, I had to have epidural injections at least once a year. Since I stopped riding daily, I haven't needed one in 8 years.
